OCC Project Work Nights

This year many hands are working together making school bags, fishing kits, sewing kits, busy books and much more for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.  Every first, third and fifth Tuesdays of each month we have been working on these projects and are excited about the many items we have already completed.  We have more work to do and invite you to help us.  Lots of various skills are needed so there is something for everyone to do.  We meet in the lower level of the church building.

We welcome to you stay after church for an fall picnic at the church pavilion.  We will provide grilled sausage, hot dogs and drinks.  If you would like to share a casserole or dessert, it would be most appreciated.
Ladies Bible Study

This month’s Bible study we will focus on Romans 4.   Join us for this valuable study that will deepen your knowledge in the Word of God. The study will be held in the Kids of the Kingdom classroom.

Guest Speaker: Pastor Sam Smucker

We encourage you to join us for service to hear from our special guest speaker, Pastor Sam Smucker. Sam was raised in an Amish home in Lancaster County.  Sam and his wife Sherlyn went to RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK.  After graduating in 1977, they were asked to consider coming back to Lancaster to pastor a new church.  That congregation has grown to over 3,000 today.  On June 11, 2017 Sam and Sherlyn completed their 40 years of ministry. 
Pastor Sam continues to serve with Sheryln as they oversee Worship Center Ministers Network, a ministry that credentials and mentors pastors and ministry leaders around the world.  Pastor Sam also serves as the Northeast Regional Director for RHEMA Ministerial Association International.
Annual Pig Roast

We invite you to join us for our annual pig roast. There will be games for kids and adults after the meal.  There is no cost for this event but would appreciate you sharing a side dish or dessert with the rest of the church family…everything else will be provided.  We hope to see you on this fun fall afternoon!
